Call for artists: The Lynnwood Arts Commission seeks submissions for its 2009 Annual Juried Themed Exhibit, “Celebrate 50.” Artists are sought to contribute their artistic interpretation for this sixth annual event as part of planned celebrations of Lynnwood’s 50th birthday. The main theme is “celebrate”; artists are invited to think of “50” as an extra challenge. Open to all ages and abilities, the deadline is July 31. The LAC is also accepting applications for monthly exhibits in 2010 at the Lynnwood Library Gallery. The gallery space features 35 linear feet wall space, a display case and three pedestals.
