Call for artists: The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council is looking for artists to show in two local galleries: The Gallery at Towne Centre in Lake Forest Park and Shoreline City Hall Gallery. Deadline: Oct. 31. Artists are invited to submit a letter of interest, resume, artist’s statement, 10-15 images on digital media that reflect a cohesive body of work, an image list with title, medium, size and price and a Self Addresses Stamped Envelope for return of materials. Please specify if you are interested in showing at either location or both. Call for artists: Mountlake Terrace Arts Commission is seeking paintings, prints, drawings, miniatures, calligraphy, photographs and 3-D works for its 32nd Annual Juried Art Show as part of Arts of the Terrace, held Oct. 1-3. Over $3,000 in prize money is available. Deadline: Aug. 30. Call for artists: The Lynnwood Arts Commission invites artists to apply for 2011 Art Exhibits at The Lynnwood Library Gallery. The gallery space in the Lynnwood Library features 35 linear feet wall space for two dimensional hanging pieces and a secured large display case and three podium display cases for smaller three dimensional work, including but not limited to ceramics, metals, wood, jewelry and glass. The artists may advertise pieces hanging in the gallery as for sale. Application deadline is Sept. 24.
