next Hi!5 Run

The Rotary Club of Lynnwood is looking for sponsors for the next Hi!5 Run in Lynnwood, set for Aug. 28.

The 5K and 10K runs need sponsorships, including the title sponsor for $10,000 and co-sponsors for $5,000. The title sponsors receive exclusive premier advertising location on the back of the official Lynnwood Hi!5 shirts. Other benefits include marketing money leverage with a 300,000 plus marketing exposure, recognition for involvement in the local community and support of Rotary programs. It’s spring, garden club season

The Mountlake Terrace Garden club is looking for new members, volunteers and/or donations. Membership is $10 per year and it’s an opportunity for residents to get ideas from each other about beautifying the city and their own yards. Flea market to support FSC

Friends of the Family Support Center in Lynnwood, community members and groups are invited to participate in Family Flea Market and Fun Day and donate10 percent of their sales to the Family Support Center. The public is encouraged to stop by the flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at the Family Support Center, located at 6330 195th St. in Lynnwood.

The sale will feature arts and crafts, baked goods, farmers market produce and many other items. A $20 fee will pay for a 10 x 10 outdoor space. Residents also can donate items to the Family Support Center, to be sold at the flea market. To rent a space or for more information, call 425-670-8984.
