Parks department open house set
The Shoreline Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department will host an open house 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Richmond Highlands Recreation Center, located at 16544 Fremont Ave. N.
The Open House will highlight programs and resources offered by the city of Shoreline parks department, office of neighborhoods, Shoreline Fire Department and more.
An informal dedication of new playground equipment will be held, as well as art demos by the Specialized Recreation Program and Teen Program performances. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 206-418-3383.
Flower club seeks new members

Holiday bazaar at Curves in LFP
 Members of Lake Forest Park Curves are hosting a holiday bazaar from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, featuring a variety of gift items including children’s sweaters, jewelry, handmade cards, scarves and other crafts.

Give food to charity drive
A Thanksgiving charity food drive is sponsored by Ryan Chiropractic Office, located at 18820 Aurora Ave. N., Suite 102, Shoreline. Residents are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items from 9 a.m. until noon and 2-6 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

TeenHope shelter hosts open house
 TeenHope, a youth shelter and service agency in Shoreline invites caring community members interested in volunteering to an open house 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the facility, located at 915 N. 199th St.
Staff will offer tours of the agency, show a video and explain volunteer opportunities within the four programs: shelter, mediation, drop-in and outreach.
