MLT casinos cited for breaking law
According to the State Liquor Control Board and Gambling Commission both casinos in Mountlake Terrace, Silver Dollar and The Crazy Moose, were cited recently for allowing a minor to gamble and get served alcohol. Parkers Casino in Shoreline was also cited for the same reason.
“In the three casinos cited, a 16-year-old was allowed to enter the establishments, sit at a gaming table and get served beer without being asked for proof of age,” according to a press release from the WSLCB.
The two state agencies joined forces to test compliance with state liquor and gambling laws. Officers and agents visited seven businesses in Shoreline and South Snohomish County.
The youth was refused entry to the following four businesses: Great American Casino in Everett, Goldies Casino in Shoreline and the Drift On Inn in Shoreline.
