Shoreline Live! theatre production
The Shoreline Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department and the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council will present Shoreline Live! at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 in the Shoreline Center Auditorium. Admittance is free. The variety show will feature the Creative Arts for Life class, sponsored by the city of Shoreline for people with disabilities.
Ferguson hosts town meeting
A joint town meeting with King County Council member Bob Ferguson and guest Sheriff Sue Rahr is set from 7-8:30 p.m. on April 4 at Inglemoor High School cafeteria, located at 15500 Simonds Road NE, Kenmore.
Help eradicate invasive ivy
South Woods Preservation Group invites volunteers to help eradicate invasive ivy from South Woods from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 18. The wooded area is located at 150th and 25th Avenue NE. Participants should bring work gloves and clipping tools. Food and beverages will be provided.

Free health seminar on stress
Ballinger Village Wellness Center will be hosting free health awareness seminars to the public on the first Tuesday of each month. Stress relief will be discussed from 6:30-7:15 p.m. on April 4 at Ballinger Way Wellness, located at 20228 Ballinger Way NE, Shoreline. Annual Spring plant sale
The Lake Forest Park Garden Club will host its annual spring plant sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 29. The sale will be held at 5724 NE 190th Street, in Kenmore. The plant sale will offer an abundant variety of Northwest favorites, including flowers, evergreens, perennials, shrubs, tomatoes, herbs, ground covers and more. Walking club meeting set
The Sound Steppers Volkssport Club, which organizes walking events, meets the first Thursday of each month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Lynnwood Senior Center at 196th Street SW, off Scribner Road.
People interested in joining the club are invited to attend. The next meeting is April 6.
Northwest Orchid Society Spring Sale
The Northwest Orchid Society’s fourth annual spring exhibit and sale will run from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Saturday, March 18 and 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday, March 19 at Sky Nursery in Shoreline, located at 28528 Aurora Avenue N.
The free family-friendly event will feature a display of blooming orchids, a repotting service, sale plants from Washington and Oregon specialty orchid growers, and pointers from local orchid enthusiasts.
There also will be an orchid repotting service (priced by pot size: $1 or $2 per inch with or without a supplied pot).
