Cyndi Correnti, a local Edmonds businesswoman, has purchased the Curves fitness center at 616 5th Avenue South in Edmonds. Correnti has been a resident and business owner in the area for 27 years. She owned SunSpot Tanning and the 212th Street Farmers Insurance Agency for more than 20 years. After a heart attack in 2003, Ms. Correnti sold the insurance agency to focus on her health. She joined Curves and was soon managing the five local Curves. As an advocate for healthy lifestyle changes, she has been a frequent speaker for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women events. Correnti is a member and Vice President of Soroptimist of Sno-King, Taste of Edmonds volunteer and supporter of many local nonprofit organizations.
