Knight Visions Studio/ Gallery in Bothell hosts a retrospective art exposition this month titled “Dear Mr. President,” Phyllis Leslie’s 50 years of “responsorial” letters from Presidents of the United States and their wives.
This unconventional art exhibit features the responses of chief executives to Leslie’s letters touching on key issues of the 20th and 21st centuries.
An octogenarian and “provocateur,” Leslie is the current grange master of the North Creek Valley Grange, president of the local Seattle chapter of the National Association of Retired and Veteran Railroad Employees and is on the Board for Aging for Snohomish County.
Visitors can meet Leslie in person at the gallery from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21.
