If there’s one good thing about the recent sunny dry weather, it’s that the Dumas Road re-construction project is ahead of schedule.

In the last couple of weeks, the first two sections of the new concrete retaining wall footings were poured on Feb. 22 and 23. Additional sections were to be poured this week.

In addition, the new concrete sidewalk was also poured along both sides of the road this week between North Creek Drive and the Bothell-Everett Highway.

Water and sewer line work in the area of the park and ride lot was expected to begin this week, according to a city of Mill Creek memo.

Because of construction, Dumas Road is closed to all traffic between North Creek Drive and the Park and Ride facility at 132nd Street SE, possibly until July.
