Edmonds captures tourney

Members of the Edmonds Hammerworks U-16 fastpitch team celebrated after taking honors at the Leslie Butterfield Memorial Tournament at Riverview Playfield in Seattle July 27-28.

Leslie Butterfield was a team mom and a founder of Hammerworks Fastpitch. Leslie passed away last fall after a courageous battle with cancer. Proceeds from the tournament went to the Leslie Butterfield Athletic Scholarship Fund.
