Kenmore Lanes and Casino is more than just a bowling alley and card room; its a neighborhood institution that has been a part of the Kenmore community for more than 50 years and its still going strong.

The entertainment spot is a meeting place and family hangout that has something to interest all ages. A third generation is now growing up at the facility, meeting friends, learning to bowl and enjoying the arcade and restaurant. New innovations are coming to Kenmore Lanes.

Just in time for the holidays, a new banquet area is being created. It soon will be available for parties, meetings and weddings. A new bar area is also in the works, and four pool tables are planned to enhance this room. The Kenmore Lanes Casino is open daily with games that include three-card poker, four-card poker, Spanish 21, and Fortune Pai Gow. Blackjack is another Kenmore favorite.

A large blackjack tournament is coming in the near future, but dates are yet to be confirmed. Prize money for that event will be approximately $7,500. Poker tournaments are a daily happening at Kenmore Lanes, and they always start at 11 a.m. Weekend tournaments are No-limit Holdem and usually sell out quickly. Players are advised to come early on those days to guarantee a spot.

Poker players also will appreciate the new Monte Carlo board and the big Bad Beat Jackpots that are available. Kenmore Lanes original card room opened in the 1970s and the casino proceeds help to subsidize bowling. The bowling alley is the largest one of its kind in Washington state.

Tournaments sanctioned by the United States Bowling Congress have taken place here. Bowling league season has begun and continues through April. The 50-lane facility currently is hosting senior leagues and junior high school and regular high school leagues.

There is also a Special Olympics league. Play opportunities are available for all ages and all skill levels. Non-bowling family members can enjoy video arcade action or a bite to eat in the 11th Frame restaurant. Food is available 24 hours a day, with breakfast being served until 11 a.m. Families are welcome.

Seahawks fans have once again made Kenmore Lanes their game-watching headquarters. Every Seattle Seahawks game is televised, and its become a popular place to stop after work for snacks and sports. You can find Kenmore Lanes and Casino at 7638 NE Bothell Way in Kenmore.
