Providence Senior and Community Services is planning to build a 20-bed $9.7 million hospice care center at a site in Everett, adding to the state’s six other locations. The Providence unit is scheduled to break ground next year on the new center. Providence is among the state’s biggest providers of hospice care, which is covered by Medicaid, Medicare and private insurers.
