Shorecrest High School graduate Jason Farrell is one of three current Seattle Sounders voted by fans to the all-time Sounders team.
Results of the online poll, conducted by soundercentral.com, were released Tuesday by the Sounders.
The all-time Sounders squad is a mix of old North American Soccer League and A-League players.
Farrell, Alan Hudson (1979-82), Steve Buttle (1978-82) and current Sounders assistant coach Jimmy Gabriel (1974-76) were selected as the best midfielders in franchise history.
Currently in his seventh season with the Sounders, Farrell is the team’s all-time assists leader with 31 and ranks among the team leaders in games played, minutes and points.
Fans chose Roger Davies (1980-82) and Chance Fry (1982-83, 1994-98) as the team’s top strikers. Defenders were Mike England (1975-79), Adrian Webster (1974-79) and current Sounders Danny Jackson and Scott Jenkins.
In a close race, fans picked goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann, who helped the Sounders win back-to-back A-League titles in 1995 and 1996.
