Fire District 1 responded to 257 calls the week of Jan. 18-24.

Jan. 24

Crews responded to 43 calls: 32 medical aid, three fires, two fire alarms, four motor vehicle collisions, 1 service call and 1 engine company move-up to cover another station’s area.

At 2:40 p.m., firefighters responded to a one-car collision on southbound I-5 south of 128th St. SW. No one was injured.

At 10:38 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car, high-speed side-impact collision at Gibson Road and Highway 99 and transported one patient to Stevens Hospital.

Jan. 23

Crews responded to 34 calls: 24 medical aid, four motor vehicle collisions, two fires, three fire alarms and a service call.

At 9:19 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision on southbound I-5 south of 128th St. SW and transported one patient to Stevens Hospital.

Jan. 21

Crews responded to 37 calls: 26 medical aid, four fires, four motor vehicle collisions, one service call, one carbon monoxide alarm and a fire alarm.

At 1:01 a.m., firefighters responded to a home in the 2800 block of 132nd St. SW where a fire alarm was sounding. Residents reported an electrical smell and a light haze of smoke, but no flames.

At 1:41 a.m., firefighters responded to a one-car rollover collision on northbound I-5 south of 128th St. SW. No one was injured.
