Fire District 1 responded to 226 calls the week of April 1 to April 7. The district serves the cities of Mountlake Terrace and Brier and the neighborhoods of Silver Firs, Eastmont, Mariner, Lake Serene, Picnic Point, Martha Lake, Lake Stickney, Norma Beach, Hilltop and Pioneer Trails.

April 1

Crews responded to 32 calls, including 23 medical aid, four motor vehicle accidents, two service calls, one carbon monoxide alarm, one fire and one fire alarm.

At 2:51 p.m. firefighters responded to a two-car collision at 168th Street Southwest and Highway 99 and transported one patient to Stevens Hospital.

April 2

Crews responded to 30 calls, including 21 medical aid, two motor-vehicle accidents, three fires, two automatic fire alarms, one mutual aid and one illegal burn.

At 3:24 p.m. firefighters responded to the 200 block of Nellis Road where a motorcycle collided with a parked car. The motorcyclist was transported by medic unit to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

April 3

Crews responded to 38 calls, including 25 medical aid, seven motor-vehicle accidents, one fire, one automatic fire alarm and one mutual aid.

At 8:49 p.m. firefighters responded to a two-car collision at 220th Street Southwest and 66th Avenue West in Mountlake Terrace. One patient was transported by private ambulance to Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.

April 4

Crews responded to 34 calls, including 22 medical aid, four motor vehicle accidents, three service calls, one illegal burn, two fires, one mutual aid and one smoke investigation.

At 3:28 p.m. firefighters assisted and freed a man stuck in an elevator at the Snohomish County Housing Authority in the 12600 block of Fourth Avenue West.

April 5

Crews responded to 16 calls, including 14 medical aid, one motor vehicle accident and one natural gas leak.

At 8:11 p.m. firefighters responded to 132nd Street Southeast and Seattle Hill Road where a car collided with a telephone pole, knocking the pole into the roadway. One patient was transported to Providence Everett Medical Center.

April 6

Crews responded to 37 calls, including 29 medical aid, four motor-vehicle accidents, two service calls and two mutual aid calls.

At 11:58 a.m. firefighters responded to a three-car collision at 112th Street Southwest and Fourth Avenue West and transported one patient to Providence Everett Medical Center.

April 7

Crews responded to 39 calls, including 32 medical aid, one motor-vehicle accident, one fire, one service, one automatic fire alarm, one illegal burn, one smoke investigation and one natural gas leak investigation.
