Fire sirens

Snohomish County Fire District 7 were called out to 83 incidents in the greater Mill Creek area during the week of July 8 through July 14.

July 8

Crews responded to 15 calls.

Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 19200 block of 88th Ave. SE at 8:17 a.m. A bedroom was on fire and crews managed to keep the fire from spreading elsewhere in the house.

July 9

Crews responded to 20 calls.

Firefighters responded to a car fire that was within five feet of a house in the 4300 block of 196th St. SE. The car was destroyed, but the fire didn’t spread to the house.

July 10

Crews responded to 12 calls.

July 11

Crews responded to 10 calls.

July 12

Crews responded eight calls.

An engine and a water tender were called to help fight a gasoline tanker truck fire on Interstate 5 at 44th Ave. W. in Lynnwood. The engine was on scene for about an hour in the afternoon and the tender was on scene for 14 hours.

July 13

Crews responded to seven calls.

July 14

Crews responded to 11 calls.
