Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 242 calls the week of Dec. 25-31

Dec.25

46 calls – 29 emergency medical aid calls, two fires, nine motor vehicle collisions, one service call and five fire alarms.

At 9:57 a.m., firefighters took two patients to Northwest Hospital after responding to a two-car spin-out collision in the 12400 block of Highway 99.

At 12:02 p.m., firefighters responded to a fully involved car fire in the 400 block of Damson Road.

At 6:12 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision in the 500 block of 128th St. SW. No one was injured.

At 8:06 p.m., firefighters responded to a one-car collision at 164th St. SW and I-5. No one was injured.

Dec. 29

31 calls – 27 emergency medical aid calls, one fire and three service calls.

At 9:45 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire at a home in the 13900 block of 57th Pl. W. The family safely evacuated the home and no one was injured. The fire, which was caused by an overheated wire in an electric shaver, was contained to the bathroom. Damage is estimated at $10,000.

Dec. 30

District 1 firefighters responded to 38 calls: 27 emergency medical aid calls, four motor vehicle collisions, two fires, two service calls and two fire alarms.

At 2:09 a.m., firefighters responded to a home in the 1800 block of 214th St. SW where a tree fell and landed on a deck and barbecue.

At 10:05 a.m., firefighters took one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a pickup truck that flipped and came to rest in the median of I-5 north of 164th St. SW.

At 3:03 p.m., firefighters responded to a car that crashed into a pole at 52nd Ave. W and Beverly Park Road. No one was injured.

At 5:38 p.m., firefighters evaluated one patient at the scene of a hit-and-run collision at Highway 99 and Manor Way.

At 5:43 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a multi-car collision on southbound I-5 at 164th St. SW.
