Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 240 calls the week of April 10-16.
April 13
Fire District 1 crews responded to 32 calls: 25 emergency medical aid calls, two fires, three motor vehicle collisions and two fire alarms.
At 8:25 p.m., firefighters responded to a car that crashed into a ditch on northbound I-5 at 196th St. SW. No one was injured
April 14
District 1 crews responded to 37 calls: 26 emergency medical aid calls, five motor vehicle collisions, two fires, one service call and three fire alarms.
At 6:26 a.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a two-car collision on southbound I-5 near 164th St. SW.
At 9:41 a.m., firefighters responded to 220th St. SW and 58th Ave. W after a bicyclist was struck by a school bus. There were no injuries.
At 6:16 p.m., firefighters responded to a collision involving two sport-utility vehicles at 164th St. SW and 2nd Pl. W. No one was injured.
At 8:40 p.m., a car hit a mailbox and went off the road in the 4800 block of a 156th St. SW. Firefighters took two patients to Stevens Hospital
April 15
District 1 crews responded to 36 calls: 29 emergency medical aid calls, four motor vehicle collisions, two fires and one service call.
At 12:06 a.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a two-car collision on northbound I-5 at 112th St. SW.
At 9:20 a.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a motor vehicle collision in the 21300 block of 44th Ave. W in Mountlake Terrace.
At 5:47 p.m., firefighters assisted the owner of a house filled with smoke in the 2100 block of 208th St. SW. Firefighters determined the source of the smoke was a faulty furnace blower.
