Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 258 calls the week of Feb. 14-20.
Feb. 20
District 1 crews responded to 29 calls: 16 emergency medical aid, six fires, two motor vehicle collisions and five fire alarms.
At 1:27 p.m., firefighters responded to a three-car collision on northbound I-5 north of 196th St. SW. No one was injured.
At 3:05 p.m., firefighters responded to a deck fire that did $10,000 damage to a home in the 1000 block of 167th Pl. SW. No one was injured. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s office investigated and determined the accidental fire was started by a propane cooker being used to heat oil.
At 5:13 p.m., firefighters evaluated one patient at a motor vehicle collision at 148th St. SW and 60th Ave. W.
Feb. 19
District 1 crews responded to 49 calls: 35 emergency medical aid calls, six motor vehicle collisions, three fires, one service call and four fire alarms.
At 6:28 a.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision at 236th St. SW and I-5 in Mountlake Terrace and treated one patient at the scene.
At 6:43 a.m., firefighters evaluated three patients at the scene of a two-car collision at 236th St. SW and I-5.
At 9:22 a.m., a transit bus rear-ended a car on northbound I-5 south of 44th Ave. W. Firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital.
At 11:50 a.m., firefighters responded to a collision involving a garbage truck and a car in the 13900 block of 15th Ave. W. No one was injured.
At 2:55 p.m., firefighters responded to a motorcycle that collided with a delivery van in the 23800 block of 23rd Ave. W in the Brier area. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Harborview Medical Center.
Feb. 18
District 1 crews responded to 38 calls: 28 emergency medical aid calls, four fires, two motor vehicle collisions, three service calls and one natural gas leak.
At 1:59 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision at 244th St. SW and I-5. They treated one patient at the scene.
Feb. 16
District 1 crews responded to 40 calls: 31 emergency medical aid calls, five motor vehicle collisions, two fires, one service call and one fire alarm.
At 1:26 a.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to a two-car collision at 220th St. SW and Highway 99.
At 2:36 a.m., firefighters responded to check on a male on the side of the road at Maplewood Avenue and Marine View Drive. They discovered the man had been injured when his van went into a nearby ditch. Firefighters took the man to Stevens Hospital.
At 1:37 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Stevens Hospital after responding to two cars that collided and went off the road at 148th St. SW and Highway 99.
At 2:51 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision in the 15100 block of Highway 99. No one was injured.
