Parents of students at public or private schools may apply for free or reduced-price lunches and snacks or reduced-price breakfasts under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs.

School and district offices each have a copy of the policy available for review, including income requirements.

Application forms with a letter to parents or guardians are being sent to all homes and must be filled out and returned to the school to receive the benefits. The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
