Friends of the Mill Creek Library is preparing for its fall used book sale on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the library, 15429 Bothell-Everett Highway, in Mill Creek.
Thousands of books have been donated for this event: Fiction and non-fiction, children’s, coffee table books, collectors’ treasures, series, and tapes. Some are almost new, some old favorites, but all will go at bargain prices. Most paperbacks will be 50 cents and hard covers will be $1. At the end of the sale there will be clearance prices.
All proceeds benefit the library for programs, storytimes, book discussions, special events and furnishings beyond the library budget.
The Friends is a non-profit organization of volunteers who work hard before, during, and after the sales. For membership information, call the library at 425-337- 4822 or 425-743-5544.
