Mr. and Mrs. Duane Huckell of Mukilteo announce the engagement of their daughter, Alisa Huckell, to Timothy Tyler, son of Connie Evans of Brush Prairie, Wash, and the late Timothy Tyler of Vancouver, Wash.
Dr. Alisa Huckell is an associate veterinarian at North Creek Pet Hospital in Bothell. A Mariner High School and Washington State University graduate, she received her DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her veterinary studies in St. Kitts, West Indies, and clinical training at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, N.Y.
The groom-to-be is a career firefighter with the Northshore Fire Department in Kenmore. He is a graduate of Battle Ground High School and the University of Washington where he received a degree in Psychology. He is a member of Theta Delta Chi.
The couple are planning a June 2007 wedding.
