The redesign of the intersection of 164th Street SE and Mill Creek Boulevard is nearing completion.
A new traffic signal that was installed at the south end of the intersection was scheduled to activate Thursday, Jan. 27, after press time.
Additional work at the intersection took place this week. Work included re-striping the north end of the intersection to allow both northbound and southbound traffic to move at the same time. In addition, the left turn signals for eastbound and westbound traffic on 164th Street SE will also be changed.
At the Dumas Road project, the contractor has worked on retaining walls and storm drainage facilities between North Creek Drive and Bothell-Everett Highway. Beginning Feb. 7, Dumas Road will close to all traffic between North Creek Drive and the Park and Ride lot at 132nd Street SE. The closure will last approximately five months.
The city of Mill Creek has a phone message updating the Dumas Road project. It is 425-921-5769.
