Local social services agencies report low on donations during this holiday season.

There are plenty of places to support in South Snohomish, north King County:

• To sponsor a holiday food basket for someone in need or to register for the South County Toy shop: sign up through your local foodbank:

In Lynnwood call 425-745-1635.

In Mountlake Terrace call Concern for Neighbors at 425-778-7227.

In Edmonds call 425-778-5833. Anyone interested in the Edmonds Toy Shop should also call this number.

Anyone approved to come to either toy shop by foodbank officials will receive a ticket through the mail which will be their invitation into the toy shop. More details on where to go and times will be included on the invitation.

The toy store and all food banks could also use committed volunteers and interpreters, call them directly for more information.

• To Adopt a Family for the holidays from Pathways YWCA contact Luanne Kunz at 425-774-9843 ext. 224.

• To make newborn to 18 year-old new toy donations for the South County Toy Shop contact Luanne Kunz at 425-774-9843 ext. 224.
