Knights land all-Chinook League track recognition

Nine members of the King’s track and field teams received all-Chinook League honors.

On the girls side, juniors Breyanne Nordtvedt (triple jump, 300 hurdles) and Tiffany Dillow (pole vault), sophomore Chira Louie (long jump) and freshmen Katherine DeJong (high jump) and Sara Mosiman (javelin) earned all-league recognition.

On the boys side, seniors Charlie Waldburger (long jump, triple jump) and Brandon Thompson (1,600-meters, 3,200-meters) and juniors Chris Faidley (110 hurdles, 300 hurdles) and Robb Waldburger (pole vault) earned all-league honors.

The King’s girls captured their ninth straight Tri-district title and edged Seattle Academy by a point to clinch a third consecutive Class 1A state championship this season.

The King’s boys won a third straight Tri-district title and placed fourth at state.
