City supports water district

The Lake Forest Park City Council voted Oct. 23 to approve a resolution to support the Lake Forest Park Water District in its efforts to secure an interlocal agreement with King County to provide protection of the district’s aquifer.

The county plans to build a $1.3 billion Brightwater wastewater treatment system that may send its pipes under the city and possibly near or through the city’s aquifer.
