Lynnwood police catch suspect in theft of wire

Lynnwood Police arrested a 32-year-old Lynnwood man early Monday, Jan. 7 for burglary and theft of copper wire from a local Lynnwood business near the Park and Ride lot and I-5.

Police were dispatched to the 20100 block of Cedar Valley Road at 4:58 a.m. when the businesses’ burglary alarm went off.

Police saw the suspects flee on foot, then contained the area and a police dog known as officer “Sandor” captured one of the suspects.

The suspect was taken to Stevens Hospital where he was evaluated and released. He was then booked into Lynnwood Jail for theft and burglary.

Another suspect is still at large. Police continue to investigate the incident.
