Man arrested for burglary in Edmonds

The following are selected reports from the Edmonds police department’s police blotter:

March 23

Assault. 500 block of 5th Ave. S. A 36-year-old male arrested after assaulting female employee. Cited and released.

Assault. 100 block of Sunset Ave. N. Dispatched to fight. Arrested three adult males, two for assault and one for disorderly conduct.

March 22

Malicious mischief. 8700 block of 238th St. SW. Tire on victim’s vehicle was slashed. $50 in damages.

Theft. 22500 block of Highway 99. 32-year-old male arrested for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Booked into Lynnwood Jail.

March 21

Narcotics. 23800 block of Highway 99. Jaywalking stop leads to the arrest of two felony warrant subjects.

March 19

Vehicle recovery. 24100 block of Highway 99. Stolen vehicle recovery. No suspect information.

March 18

Disturbance. 22800 block of 100th Ave. W. Adult male was trespassed out of QFC Starbucks after creating a disturbance within the store.

Warrant service. 22500 block of Highway 99. Suspicious male arrested on warrant.

Traffic. 22000 block of 76th Ave. W. Attempted traffic stop leads to pursuit of a stolen vehicle. Pursuit terminated by officer.

March 17

Auto theft. 400 block of Dayton St. Victim reports that his vehicle was missing, possible stolen. Victim later found vehicle. He had forgotten exactly where he parked it. Report unfounded.

Accident. 1200 block of Olympic Ave. An individual was traveling northbound in the parking lot of Edmonds Elementary. The individual stated that she impacted the fence protecting the playground. Then she backed out of the fence and started folding clothes in the trunk of her car. The woman moved the vehicle out of the parking stall and drove through the parking lot where the vehicle impacted a curb, according to witnesses. The suspect was driving with her license suspended and was booked into the Lynnwood Jail.

Auto theft. 8600 block of Maple Ln. Vehicle damaged during theft attempt.

March 16

Burglary. 8100 block of 238th St. SW. 37-year-old male arrested for burglary. Booked into Snohomish County Jail.

March 14

Auto theft. 21500 block of 73rd Pl. W. 27-year-old male charged with theft of motor vehicle. Referred through Superior Court.

March 12

Narcotics. 21900 block of 76th Ave. W. A Stevens Hospital employee is caught forging prescriptions and filling them at local pharmacies.
