Kristina Hughes scored the game-winning goal to lead the Meadowdale girls soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Kamiak in a Western Conference 4A South Division game Oct. 29 at Kamiak High School.
The victory clinched the South Division title for the Mavericks, who improved to 8-0-1 in the league and 12-1-3 overall.
Meadowdale earned a first round bye and will kick off the playoffs on Monday at Civic Field in Bellingham.
