Meadowdale High students AP Scholars

Meadowdale High School students are preparing for this spring’s Advanced Placement tests. The number of students testing this spring has increased since last year.

Last May, 229 students from the 10 Advanced Placement courses offered at Meadowdale took a total of 325 AP exams. Students who scored well enough on their exams may earn college credit for being successful in these high school courses. A total of 39 juniors and seniors performed at a level high enough last year to merit special recognition.

Mallory Erickson, Evan Hatfield, Allison Hays, Amber Jensen, Laura Johnson and Patrick True qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of 3.5 or better on all AP exams taken. Additionally, these students needed to have taken a minimum of five AP exams.

Olivia Brent-Fielding, Quinn Burgess, Kelsey Finzer, Whitney Frank, Sarah Johnson, Jessyca Murphy, Emily Olsen and Katherine Pickard were recognized as Scholars with Honor for their exam scores.

AP Scholar recognition status was given to Kathleen Atkinson, Erik Bear, Haley Brandt, Alexandria Brent-Fielding, Brittney Doran, Amanda Effertz, Andrew Gawronski, Aubrey Gress, Katherine Hallaian, David Hendrix, Casey Hoffman, Allison Iguchi, Lu Jiang, Megan Johnson, Mitchell Kiriluk, Sennen Klassen, Jeffrey Larson, Trevor Lyon, Eric Marty, Kelly Oling, Holly Patton, Conner Peretti, Andrea Peterson, Scott Posey and Si-Hyun Woo.
