Museum is best use of building

A report has come to my attention that the Shoreline school board and administrators are planning on moving the Shoreline Historical Museum out of its present location in the historic Ronald Elementary school. The museum has been located there for the last 33 years. Accordingly, the district wants to tear down Shorewood High School and rebuild and then use the Ronald school building to house all of the school directors administrative offices, In 1974, the Shoreline School District board of directors themselves determined that the best and finest use of the then 62-year-old building would be for a museum where students, as well as adults, could and do learn and appreciate the history of the area and also give them a strong tie to the community.

I for one will actively campaign against the school levy for financing this harebrained project.
