Off-the-mark cartoons not really funny

Is there any particular reason that Enterprise readers must endure the absurd right-wing rantings of its “cartoonist”? In addition to lacking any trace of humor they are also, invariably, off the mark. I can still recall a cartoon from this past April that called climate change into question after Mariner games in Cleveland were postponed due to snow (hardly a freak occurrence in that part of the country). Will we be seeing similar “cartoons” now that the same Cleveland baseball team is playing its October post-season games in summer conditions and the October Chicago Marathon was canceled mid-race once temperatures hit 88 degrees and one runner died?
