Plunkett an asset to city

  • Tuesday, March 31, 2009 6:58pm

Michael Plunkett will be up for re-election this fall. He should be re-elected, as he is an asset to Edmonds for many reasons.

He has worked actively on, and voted to support, many projects that will keep Edmonds one of the most enjoyable places to live. Among his many accomplishments: he created the Edmonds Historic Preservation Commission; voted to fund pedestrian improvements; and voted for the city purchase of a number of properties in order to preserve open space and preserve our waterfront.

Michael is a man of his word, and puts the interests of Edmonds above his own.

We need him on the City Council, and I ask the people of Edmonds to support his re-election.
