Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police.

Oct. 13

Death investigation. 16100 block First Ave. NE. A suspect passed away from a gunshot wound at a city park parking lot.

Residential burglary. 10000 block NE 161st St. A suspect gained entry to a home by breaking a window.

Larceny. 50000 block N. 185th Pl. A suspect opened a car door and stole car registration. Nothing else was damaged or taken.

Vandalism. 20300 block 19th Ave. NE. Graffiti was found on the exterior of a building and a business sign.

Residential burglary. 20300 block Burke Ave. N. An unknown suspect entered a house through a rear unlocked door.

Assault. 14700 block Bothell Way NE. A suspect kicked someone in the ribs.

Oct. 14

DUI. 20100 block Fremont Ave. N. Someone was arrested for drinking and driving.

Vandalism. 15500 block Burke Ave. N. The word “slam” was spray painted on the side of a van sometime overnight.

Vandalism. 15700 block Stone Ave. N. A fence was spray painted in red paint with the word “slaw.”

Oct. 15

Assault. 14500 block 32nd Ave. NE. A neighbor slapped another neighbor after a dispute.

Dispute. 15000 block NE 177th St. Neighbors were fighting over a parking space.

Vandalism. 21000 block N. 158th St. The word “slaw” was written with red spray paint on the rear of a trailer.

Vandalism. 18000 block NE 172nd St. Eggs were thrown at a house and vehicles.

Oct. 16

Auto theft. 70000 block N. 178th St. A 1992 red Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from a driveway.

Oct. 17

Larceny. 17300 block Fremont Ave. N. A student placed her iPod on a table in a school lunch room; it was later taken.

Larceny. 90400 block N. 155th St. A woman left her purse sitting in a booth unattended while she went outside a restaurant to smoke a cigarette. When she returned, the purse was missing.

Oct. 18

Larceny. 16300 block 25th Ave. NE. A student placed his backpack, which contained a computer, in a secure area during gym class. The computer was taken from the secured area when the student returned to retrieve his backpack.

Attempted residential burglary. 15700 block Interlake Ave. N. A small shovel was used to shatter an outer window. Entry to the house was not made, however.
