Here are selected reports from Edmonds Police:
Aug. 21
Burglary. 21600 block of 81st Ave. W. A Microsoft X-box was stolen from a residence.
Burglary. 9600 block of Firdale Ave. A motion burglar alarm activated at a business. The front door was kicked in and jewelry, coins and a handgun stolen from inside.
Aug. 20
Burglary. 9600 block of Firdale Ave. Someone shattered the front window of a business with a rock. No entry was gained.
Aug. 19
Theft. 23900 block of Edmonds Way. Someone stole a vehicle parked in the parking lot of an auto shop.
Liquor. 9800 block of Edmonds Way. A disturbance inside a bowling alley between two groups of bowlers was reported.
Aug. 18
Suspicious circumstances. 8300 block of 203rd Pl. SW. A complaint of a vehicle in Pine Ridge Park after hours led to the arrest of two males for possession of marijuana.
Aug. 15
Theft. 100 block of Third Ave. N. A vehicle in an underground parking garage was broken into, jewelry and a child’s car seat stolen.
Vehicle prowl. 21600 block of 76th Ave. W. The complainant parked his vehicle in the Stevens Hospital parking lot and upon returning to it, found a stranger inside. Another suspect was parked in a 1993 Saab behind the complainant’s vehicle. Both suspects fled on foot, leaving the Saab, which was stolen from Seattle.
Noise. 700 block of Cedar Street. A complaint of noise at a construction site was received. The suspect has been contacted numerous times on the same complaint and continues to ignore the city ordinance.
Aug. 13
Theft. 9500 block of Edmonds Way. A 21-year-old male and 19-year-old female were caught prowling vehicles. Both admitted to recent thefts from other vehicles. Stolen property was recovered. Both suspects were booked into Snohomish County Jail on felony charges of possession of stolen property.
Burglary. 22800 block of Edmonds Way. An attempted commercial burglary of a nursing home was reported. Hand prints were recovered.
