The following are selected reports from Mill Creek police.

Aug. 24

Theft. 15100 block of 15th Ave., 9 a.m. A man reported a copy of Time magazine was stolen from his mailbox.

Theft. 13500 block of North Creek Dr., 4:33 p.m. A truck was broken into and a stereo and approximately 400 compact discs were taken.

Aug. 25

Theft. 13500 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 2:30 p.m. Someone filled a gas tank with $26 worth of gasoline and drove off without paying for it.

Aug. 26

Vehicle theft. 13500 block of North Creek Dr., 9:07 a.m. A white 1994 Honda Civic was stolen.

Theft. 14200 block of 20th Dr., 3:30 p.m. Several pieces of mail were stolen.

Theft. 1200 block of Mill Creek Blvd., 8:10 p.m. A license plate was stolen off a vehicle.

Aug. 27

Vehicle theft. 1200 block of Mill Creek Blvd., 6:27 a.m. A 1993 Honda Civic was stolen from an apartment complex parking lot.

Vandalism. 15200 block of Main St., 3 p.m. A business’s decorative concrete bench was damaged.

Fraud. 2000 block of 151st. St., 9 a.m. A man’s credit card was used fraudulently to make $411 worth of online purchases.

Aug. 28

Hit and run. 14200 block of 30th Dr., 1:37 a.m. A car struck a tree, and witnesses said several youths were seen running away from the scene. Police located two subjects, but were not able to find out who was the driver. One of the detained subjects was the vehicle’s registered owner, and was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Identity theft. 3100 block of 149th Pl., 9:29 a.m. A man reported someone was using his identification and passing bad checks.

Aug. 29

Accident. 2000 block of 132nd St. SE., 3:05 a.m. A Seattle woman failed to stop and struck another vehicle.

DUI. 3300 block of 162nd Pl. SE., 7:37 p.m. During a traffic stop, police determined a 31-year-old Everett man was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and later provided breath samples that were three times the legal limit.

Fraud. 14700 block of 29th Ct., 9:06 p.m. A man reported someone forged information over the Internet to purchase a laptop computer.

Aug. 30

Accident. 1500 block of 136th St. SE., 12:25 p.m. Two Mill Creek juveniles were involved in a minor traffic accident. No one was injured and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Accident. 1100 block of Trillium Blvd., 2:33 p.m. A vehicle failed to yield prior to making a left turn and struck another vehicle head-on. No one was injured.
