Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police.

Dec. 17

Emergency call. 18500 block 29th Ave. NE. An operator received an emergency phone call and only could hear a baby giggle. The operator called back and spoke to the baby’s mother, who said her 2-year-old was playing on the phone.

Traffic stop. 17500 block Ballinger Way NE. A driver was warned for driving in the transit lane.

Emergency call. 16700 block 39th Ave. NE. A 5-year-old boy called 911 after being told he could not open a Christmas present.

Suspicious circumstances. 17000 block Brookside Blvd. NE. A man, covered in a blanket, was seen sleeping on a park bench.

Traffic stop. 20500 block 30th Ave. NE. While on a traffic stop, an officer discovered two pipes and two bags of marijuana.

Dec. 18

Auto prowl. 14800 block Bothell Way NE. A woman reported her windows were broken out of her car.

Traffic stop. 15500 block Bothell Way NE. A pedestrian was stopped for walking in the transit lane.

DUI. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. A man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Residential burglary. 4600 block NE. 201st Pl. Two cameras were reported missing from a home.

DUI. 16900 block Bothell Way NE. A man was arrested for drinking and driving after he was seen swerving over the center line.

Dec. 19

Party. 2600 block NE 195th St. A bottle was thrown off a third floor apartment during a loud party.

Suspicious circumstances. 14500 block Bothell Way NE. A man was found sleeping under a blanket in the back of his car. He said he was locked out of his house.

Suspicious circumstances. 15000 block 33rd Ave. NE . A man was seen in someone’s back yard, bleeding from his head.

Residential burglary. 4000 block NE. 197th St. A man returned home and heard someone in his house. An interior check was conducted and a large tortoise was found in the bathroom.

Dec. 20

Malicious mischief. 18500 block 30th Ave. NE. Juveniles threw eggs at construction trucks.

Suspicious circumstances. 17000 block Hamlin Rd. NE. Someone reported a man was looking in his mailbox.

Residential burglary. 1610 block Bothell Way NE. A woman came home and noticed her house was broken into.

Dec. 21

DUI. 15900 block Bothell Way NE. Someone was arrested for drinking and driving.

Theft. 360 block NE. 156th St. Mail was stolen from a mailbox.

Auto prowl. 16700 block 41st Ave. NE. Truck battery cables were cut and a battery stolen.

Dec. 22

Hazard. 3500 block 196th St. Kids were seen putting safety cones in the middle of the road.
