Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police.

Jan. 29

Auto theft. 3600 block 155th St. NE. A man reported his ‘95 Nissan Pathfinder was missing.

Residential alarm. 20131 44th Ave. NE. Officers responded to a residential alarm and found the exterior secure. There was no evidence of an attempted break-in.

Residential alarm. 16500 block Shore Dr. NE. Officers responded to an alarm and found a door to the kitchen was unsecured.

Jan. 30

Vehicle impound. 7100 block Bothell Way. NE. A vehicle parked in a handicap parking stall was impounded.

DUI/marijuana. 17100 block Bothell Way. A traffic stop resulted in arrests for DUI and the possession of marijuana.

Trespass warning. 17000 block Ballinger Way NE. Witnesses reported juveniles were looking into cars parked at the mall.

Larceny. 19600 block Sunnyside Dr. A man reported items were taken from his vehicle by an unknown suspect who broke the driver side window and unlocked the door.

Larceny. 16000 block Aurora Ave. N. A man reported his cell phone was taken from his vehicle.

Attempted robbery. 100 block Fremont Ave. Suspects confronted a student walking home from junior high school. They assaulted the students and “used fear” to try to obtain money from them.

Larceny. 19000 block Park Ave. N. Someone reported mail was taken from their mailbox.

Embezzlement. 19000 block Ballinger Way. The director of a non-profit organization reported one of her employees was embezzling money to purchase credit cards, concert tickets and hotel rooms.

Larceny. 15200 block Aurora Ave. N. A woman reported her wallet was stolen while she worked. Her wallet had been stored in the back room of the store.

Jan. 31

Vehicle impound. 18900 block 37th Ave. NE. A car was impounded after being parked for 72 hours without moving.

DUI. 5000 block SR 522. A traffic stop resulted in an arrest for DUI.

Larceny. 20200 block Richmond Beach Rd. Someone reported sports equipment was stolen from their front porch.

Vandalism. 14900 block 30th Ave. NE. Suspects shattered the glass door of a church with a rock.

Fraud. 1100 block 205th St. Suspects made eight transactions at a local store, writing checks for each in the amount of $6,279. All payments were stopped.

Fraud. 15500 block Burke Ave. N. A couple received a letter in the mail declining them for a home loan. They never applied for a loan and discovered that an unknown male had applied for a loan using their name.

Feb. 1

Assault. 14500 block SR 522. Officers responded to a report of assault with a firearm.

Larceny. 18500 block 16th Ave. NE. A woman reported her outgoing mail was stolen.

Feb. 2

Assault. 14800 block SR 522. A woman reported a man pointed a gun at her during an argument. The gun was later determined to possibly have been a beer bottle.

Attempted burglary. 18500 block Firlands Way. Suspects attempted to burglarize a dental office.

Larceny. 200 block 200th St. NW. A man reported his outgoing mail was stolen.

Bomb. 19500 block 25th Ave. NW. Someone reported a computer device was in their mailbox.

Larceny. 16700 block Dayton Ave. N. Two political signs were reported stolen. One was in the victim’s front yard and another was attached to his fence in front of his home.

Feb. 3

DUI. 18200 block SR 104. A traffic stop for speed resulted in a DUI arrest.

Residential alarm. 17000 block 26th Ave. NE. Officers responded to an alarm, but found no indication of an attempted break-in.

Forgery. 17000 block SR 522. A suspect tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at a local gas station. The person was arrested for forgery.

Forgery. 16000 block Aurora Ave. N. Employees at a local casino reported a male was trying to buy poker chips with counterfeit money.

Fraud. 1200 block 172nd St. A man reported he applied for a credit card at a hardware store and never received the card. He did, however, receive a bill totaling $4,500.

Feb. 4

DUI. 15000 block SR 522. A traffic stop for speed resulted in a DUI arrest.

Traffic offense. 14900 block Bothell Way NE. A driver was traveling in the “Transit only lane” and when they were pulled over by police, a computer check revealed they had a suspended drivers license.

Vandalism 18100 block Palatine Ave. N. Someone reported suspects flattened the tires on their car and spray painted the word “rapist” on the side of the car.

Larceny. 1000 block 171st Pl. NW. Someone reported their mail was stolen.

Feb. 5

DUI. 3600 block 145th St. NE. A traffic stop resulted in a DUI arrest.

Forgery. 15300 block Aurora Ave. N. Employees at a local bank reported a man tried to open a bank account using a stolen check.
