Jan. 15

Vehicle prowl. 18300 block of 2nd Ave NE. 9:24 a.m. Someone broke into a vehicle through a broken window and rifled through the contents.

Jan. 14

Auto theft. 900 block of N. 198th St. 4:40 p.m. A vehicle was stolen from an apartment complex parking lot.

Person lost. 17900 block of Fremont Ave. N. 3:20 p.m. A subject walked away from a group home where they lived.

Assault. 16100 block of Greenwood Ave. N. 11:39 a.m. Someone walked to their car after class at a community college was approached by someone who stepped into the open car door so it could not be closed and assaulted the victim.

Jan. 13

Larceny. 2100 block of N. 153rd St. 6:11 p.m. Someone stole several checks from his parents and cashed them.

Residential burglary. 14700 block of 22nd Ave. NE 12:40 p.m. Someone kicked in the rear door of a house and stole a laptop and printer.

Larceny. 16100 block of Greenwood Ave. 10:40 a.m. A car DVD/stereo system was stolen from a community college lot.

Commercial burglary. 16000 block of Aurora Ave. N. 12:51 a.m. Someone entered a business and took a computer and backpack.

Jan. 12

Resisting an officer, trespass. 17400 block of State Route 104. 11:25 a.m. A woman was asked multiple times to leave an office and refused. She would not leave and police arrested her for criminal trespass.

Larceny. 17300 block of Fremont Ave. N. 9:17 p.m. Someone took a cell phone from a backpack in a school library.

Forgery checks. 15300 block of Aurora Ave. N. 6:46 p.m. Someone cashed stolen checks at a bank.

Larceny. 19700 block of 20th Ave. NW. 9:53 Someone took a saw that was left outside the garage door.

Vandalism. 2800 block of N. 200th St. 9:39 a.m. Vandalism was done to school windows and a company vehicle.

Commercial burglary. 1200 block of NE 175th St. 8:20 a.m. Someone climbed a fence of an auto lot and took a vehicle.

Commercial burglary. 600 block of NW Richmond Beach. 5:41 a.m. Someone broke out the front door lock of a jewelry store and took watches and chains.

Jan. 11

Hit and run, injury. 18500 block of Ballinger Way. 8:26 p.m. A man was found lying at the edge of the roadway. An unknown VW vehicle had struck the man. He was taken to the hospital.

Theft. 4600 block of NE 178th St. 11 a.m. Someone attempted to cash a stolen check twice.

Warrant. 16900 block of Bothell Way. 2:24 a.m. Police stopped a bicyclists from riding without a front lamp or helmet. The person gave several false names and birthdates. They were arrested and found to have an outstanding felony warrant.

Residential burglary. 18400 block of Corliss Ave. N. 9:24 a.m. Someone entered a home through an open front window but left without damaging or breaking anything.

Larceny. 19500 block of 27th Ave. NW. 4:40 p.m. Items were stolen from a vehicle.

Assault, cutting. 16700 block of 10th Ave. NE 3:44 p.m. A man was attacked by his brother with a kitchen knife and was kicked, punched and cut on the finger. The brother was arrested for assault.

Vandalism. 16000 block of 27th Ave NE. 1:40 p.m. someone vandalized a vehicle.

Larceny. 20300 block of N. Park Ave. N. 10:20 a.m. Someone took two garage door openers and $50 from a vehicle parked in a residential driveway.

Vandalism. 19600 block of Forest Park Dr. 8:04 a.m. Someone damaged the front windshield of a vehicle.

Forgery. 1100 block of NE 185th St. 9 p.m. Someone paid a restaurant delivery person with a counterfeit $100 bill.

Jan. 10

Bike/vehicle accident. Ballinger Way and NE 175th St. 5:11 p.m. A cyclist was riding without a front lamp or a helmet and wearing dark clothing and traveling about 30 miles per hour. The cyclist failed to yield when a vehicle that was making a lawful left turn turned in front of him.

Larceny. 15400 block of Westminster. 7:55 p.m. A wallet and checkbook were stolen from someone’s pocket as they were shopping at a grocery store.

Vehicle prowl. 20300 block of Dayton Ave. 2 p.m. someone attempted to break into a vehicle.

Jan. 9

Liquor violation. 1400 block of NW Richmond Beach. 7:07 p.m. Drunk juveniles were harassing customers at a bowling alley and restaurant next door.

commercial burglary. 16500 block of 10th Ave. NE. 6 p.m Police were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress at a school. Someone was seen running through the school during locked hours.

Forged checks. 17500 block of Wallingford Ave. 2:25 p.m. Someone stole a check out of a mailbox, altered the amount and cashed it.

Larceny. NE 155th St and 8th Ave. NE 1:40 p.m A vehicle parked in a park parking lot was broken into and items stolen.

Fraud. 2100 block of N 158th St. 1:09 p.m. Someone fraudulently used someone else’s credit card.

Forged checks. 17500 block of Wallingford Ave. 12:45 p.m. Someone stole mail from a mailbox and forged checks.

Fraud. 19500 block of 3rd Ave NW. 9:45 a.m. Someone fraudulently overdrew someone else’s bank account.

Commercial burglary. 17200 block of 12th Ave. NW 8:45 a.m. Someone broke into a construction trailer and stole tools.

Larceny. 800 block of NE Serpentine Pl. 8:40 a.m. Someone entered a vehicle and stole items.

Jan. 8

Drugs/DUI. 6100 block of Bothell Way. 7:14 p.m. Traffic stop resulted in investigation for DUI, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Fraud. 15200 block of 12th Ave. NE 3:48 p.m. Credit card fraud.

Vandalism. 2100 block of N. 154th st. 10:36 a.m. Someone damaged a car.
