The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports.

Jan. 18

Liquor. 21900 block Highway 99. Investigation of a report of people drinking alcohol in a grocery store parking lot resulted in the arrest of one person on an outstanding warrant and another for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Jan. 16

Dumping. 21500 block Highway 99. A large amount of garbage, clothing and household debris was dumped into a business’s recycling bin. Mail and documents were recovered from the garbage but the investigation resulted in a dead end.

Jan. 15

Theft. 700 block Fir Street. Mail was stolen.

Theft. 24200 block 88th Pl. W. A resident placed outgoing mail in a mailbox and it was stolen before it was picked up by the postal service.

Jan. 14

Vehicle recovery. 7800 block 218th Street SW. A stolen vehicle and license plates were recovered.

Assist other agency. 7800 block 218th Street SW. A stolen truck was located in an apartment building’s parking lot.

Theft. 21400 block 92nd Ave. W. A homeowner reported the theft of a bike. No information on suspects was reported.

Theft. 21900 block Highway 99. Someone was seen shoplifting food and was caught, cited and released.

Jan. 13

Theft. 23600 block Highway 99. A male juvenile caught stealing an XBOX magazine was cited and released to his parents.

Jan. 10

Theft. 400 block Third Ave. S. A bike valued at $400 was stolen by an unknown person.
