The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.
Aug. 11
Harassment. 20100 block of 61st. Pl. W. A man reported another man had been leaving him harassing phone calls and had been driving by his house.
Assault. 21200 block of 44th Ave. W. A man parked at a local convenience store reported another man drove up, got out of his car and punched him in the face, then left. The victim said he didn’t know the suspect or why he would’ve hit him.
Car theft. An intoxicated 46-year-old man stole a vehicle but was found soon after at a nearby gas station. He was arrested for possession of stolen property.
Aug. 10
Vehicle prowl. 20200 block of 60th Ave. W. Someone reported unknown persons stole some stereo equipment from their vehicle.
Vehicle prowl. 23500 block of Lake View Drive. A woman reported unknown persons broke into her vehicle by prying open a window. The thieves stole $2 in coins from the car. Clothes and other property was strewn throughout the car.
Assault. 19700 block of 64th Ave. W. A party filled with 16-year-old girls turned ugly when fisticuffs started. No arrests were made.
Aug. 9
Car prowl. 3100 block of 196th St. SW. A 49-year-old man reported unknown persons stole some stereo equipment from his vehicle. How the vehicle was entered wasn’t provided in the police report.
