‘Prince of the Pond’ hops into Richmond Beach

Richmond Beach Library hosts Book-It Repertory Theatre’s Book-It All Over! adaptation of Donna Jo Napoli’s book, “The Prince of the Pond: Otherwise Known As De Fawg Pin” at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30. A new twist on the old tale of a prince in frog’s clothing, De Fawg Pin is the victim of a witch’s curse and tries his best to adapt his human sensibilities to an amphibious world, with entertaining results. Using live actors, this adaptation blends the scientific and the silly. For ages 5-12. Registration required, event limited to 80 people.
