Bridge marathon benefits food bank

A bridge marathon to benefit the Carol Rowe Food Bank in Edmonds will begin in October.

Each two-person team will be assigned to a group of eight pairs, in round-robin fashion. Each pair will play the other pairs in its group between October 2002 and May 2003.

The schedule calls for one game a month, but the participants schedule a date, time, and location that suits them. Each person entered contributes $10 to the EUMC Food Bank.

Only daytime matches are currently scheduled; however, an evening series will be scheduled if there is enough interest by calling the phone numbers below.

Get a partner, have some fun, and benefit yourself and a worthwhile cause.
