District seeks feedback on LHS
The Edmonds School District invites all community members to a meeting to see and comment on the design-in-progress for the new Lynnwood High School, which will be built on North Road, east of Interstate 5, with support from voters during a special election to be held in February. The meeting will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28 at the Martha Lake Elementary School Gym, 17500 Larch Way. School district and Snohomish County staff will present information about: the project, the proposed bond/levy, and transportation planning and improvements in the area.
There will be opportunities to pose questions and make suggestions about all aspects of the project. The district will hold a second meeting in November to respond to questions and issues raised at the Sept. 28 meeting that require research and design.
Any questions and comments from people unable to attend the meeting can be directed to Edward Peters, capital projects director, at peterse@edmonds.wednet.edu or 425-670-7170. The school’s design can be previewed on the district Web site at http://www.edmonds.wednet.edu/capitalprojects/.
