Madrona puts on Hello, Dolly!

The Madrona Children’s Theater will perform their tenth full Broadway-style musical – Hello, Dolly! – at 7 p.m. March 18 and 19, at 1 and 7 p.m. March 20 and at 1 and 5 p.m. March 21 in the Edmonds Woodway High School Theater. Madrona K-8 student Hannah Tyo, 13, holds the role of Dolly, while classmate Claire Charbonneau, also 13, plays Ermengarde. Alanna Sutton, 14, plays Barnaby Tucker and Thomas Rivarola, 12, plays Ambrose. Tickets are $9 for adults, $6 for children under 14. Evening of poetry, music at EdCC

Edmonds Community College will host the symphonic choir at 7:30 p.m. March 18 at the Alderwood Community Church 3403 Alderwood Mall Blvd. The event theme is “Poetry in Music” and will include choral settings and readings of poetry by Robert Frost, Langston Hughes , Emily Dickinson and William Shakespeare.
