Drum corps still has openings
Nearly 200 musicians and color guard hopefuls from throughout the western states attended the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps’ audition camp in Everett Dec. 6-8.
The group started to develop the technique and skill that will be necessary to perform the new season’s challenging Spanish-themed show.
The corps’ 12,000-mile national tour begins in northern California in late June. The 30-performance tour concludes at the Drum Corps International World Championships in Orlando, FL.
The next camp will be held at Explorer Middle School in Everett January 17-20. Colorguard, brass and percussion players who were unable to attend the December camp are encouraged to audition. Membership will be finalized following this camp.
