Shoreline neighborhoods profiled in new exhibit

The Shoreline Historical Museum continues its “Linking the Community” exhibit series with a new installation highlighting the Echo Lake, Richmond Highlands and Meridian Park neighborhoods.

The exhibit explores the history of the neighborhoods surrounding and encompassing the Aurora corridor from 205th to 165th, including the Ronald, Maywood, Happy Valley and Hillwood neighborhoods. Anniversary profiles of Sky Nursery (50 years) and Highland Ice Arena (40 years) are also featured, along with Interurban artifacts, photos and oral history.

The Shoreline Historical Museum is located at 749 N. 175th in the former Ronald School building. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For more information call 206-542-7111.
