The recent snow and subsequent cancellation of school created some problems for basketball coaches, but teams are now back on a regular schedule.
The disruption of missed practices has made life tougher for coaches in terms of evaluating their players.
The Archbishop Murphy boys team missed three scheduled practices and also had some football players gone the first week of turnouts.
Wildcats head coach Jerry Zander was still trying to figure out his rotations and combinations as of late last week.
“It’s still kind of up in the air,” he said. “I’m still not sure who’s on varsity on JV at this point.
Jackson boys coach Steve Johnson knows the feeling.
“It’s been chaotic. That’s just the way it goes,” he said. “It’s the same for everybody. We’re all in the same boat.”
