What follows are updates on various road-construction projects in the Mill Creek area. Closures can take place anytime during daylight hours.
West of Mill Creek
Construction crews are closing east- and west-bound lanes on 164th Street Southwest through Dec. 27 to tie into a gas main for a subdivision.
East of Mill Creek
Single-lane closures on Seattle Hill Road have been extended through Dec. 30, according to Snohomish County Public Works. The closure is in effect near the intersection with 132nd Street Southeast and will allow crews to install utilities and make frontage improvements for an upcoming development.
A closure on Sunset Road between 169th Street Southeast and Strumme Road is in effect through Jan. 6, allowing construction crews to install utilities and make frontage improvements for a new subdivision.
A lane closure on 35th Avenue Southeast is in effect between 185th Place Southeast and 180th Street Southeast so crews can install utilities, stormwater drainage systems and make frontage improvements for a subdivision. That closure is in effect through March 10.
South of Mill Creek
Single lane and shoulder closures on 180th Street Southeast east of Sunset Road will take place through Jan. 11. Crews are disconnecting and capping residential gas service.
The shoulder of 183rd Street Southeast is closed through Dec. 19 so T-Mobile can put fiber optics on power poles.
