Mill Creek’s Donaldson named to Washington State Hall of Fame
James Donaldson, owner of The Donaldson Clinic in Mill Creek, will be one of nine athletes and coaches inducted into Washington State’s Athletic Hall of Fame on Sept. 8.
Donaldson played basketball from 1977-79 and later went on to a 14-year career in the National Basketball Association.
He also was recently inducted into the Pac-10 Basketball Hall of Fame.
Trout Unlimited schedules monthly meeting for April 26
The Edmonds Laebugton Salmon Chapter of Trout Unlimited will have guest speakers captain Mike Cenci and Chris Clementson from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, who will speak about how their roles might mutually benefit sports fishery. Gymnast headed to national meet
Archbishop Murphy’s Anna Epps took second place on beam and sixth overall at the Region 2 Gymnastics Championships April 1 in Boise, Idaho.
Epps, 15, secured her spot on the regional team and will compete at the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Women’s National Championships in Oklahoma City on April 28-30.
The championship will feature 450 gymnasts and serves as a springboard for the 2008 Olympic Games along with introducing the gymnasts to National Collegiate Athletic Association Coaches.
